Berklee Online at Berklee College of Music announces series of roadshow events to connect existing and prospective students along with up-and-coming musicians with the UK’s music industry
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Berklee Online at Berklee College of Music is heading to the UK this month to bring students and musicians together with the UK music industry for a series of highly-focused networking events.
Berklee Online is the online continuing education division of Berklee College of Music, delivering access to Berklee’s acclaimed curriculum from anywhere in the world. More than simply a rough online equivalent of brick-and-mortar courses, Berklee Online utilises state of the art technology to bring the best of Berklee to students around the world.
Courses are written and taught by Berklee faculty members, and through the integration of audio and video feedback and weekly live chats, online students can build a personal relationship with their instructors and fellow students. Study areas include music production, guitar, songwriting, film scoring, music theory, music business, and much more.
“We’ve had the pleasure of teaching some of the U.K.’s most prominent musicians and producers, including Fraser T. Smith, who won a Grammy award with Adele,” says Senior Director of Marketing, Jana Jackson. “Our goal with this U.K. endeavour is to connect with current and prospective students, as well as potential partners, to help us showcase our online school and how we can positively impact U.K. musician’s careers.”
