Former Codemasters Director takes the hotseat, with Narcos, Zumba and Guitar Hero at the top of his inbox

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Matt White has been appointed Head of Studios at UK developer Kuju. He replaces Brynley Gibson, who is moving to Sweden with his family.

Part of the Catalis Group – which also includes Curve Digital and Testronic – Kuju currently has teams working on Narcos, Zumba and Guitar Hero games. White will head up all Kuju operations, whilst looking to further expand the studio’s activities.

White joins Kuju from Codemasters where he was Game Director. He has also enjoyed stints at Exient, Microsoft, Infogrames and Games Workshop during his career in game development.

“We’re delighted that Matt is joining us to head up Kuju as we embark on an exciting period, with work beginning on Narcos and Zumba Fitness, and expansion plans underway,” said Catalis CEO Dominic Wheatley. “Matt’s extensive experience speaks for itself and we’re looking forward to him taking Kuju forward.”
