WARE, HERTFORDSHIRE, OCTOBER 15TH 2015: Book publisher Wordsworth Editions has confirmed its release schedule for 2016, including new editions of nine important titles.
The line-up includes texts from Joseph Conrad, Henry David Thoreau, Saint Augustine, Eric Knight and John Stuart Mill, spanning the children’s classics, philosophy and adventure genres.

Lassie Come Home, Eric Knight (Released Feb 2016, £1.99): The book that sparked 11 films, five TV series and at least three cartoons, Knight’s Lassie Come Home (1940) is the latest edition to the Wordsworth Editions Children’s Classics Collection. ISBN: 9781840225938
Walden & Civil Disobedience, Henry David Thoreau (Released Feb 2016, £3.99): A double volume containing two of transcendentalist Thoreau’s most highly-regarded works. Walden (1854) is an essay on self-discovery and self-reliance, while Civil Disobedience (1849) addresses the relationship between government and society in the shadow of slavery and American imperialism. Confessions, Saint Augustine (Released April 2016, £3.99): Confessions is a 13-book autobiographical text from early Christian theologian and philosopher Augustine of Hippo (354 - 430), whose writings influenced the development of Western Christianity and Western philosophy.
On Liberty & Utilitarianism, John Stuart Mill (Released April 2016, £3.99): Another double volume, containing two of prolific English philosopher Mill’s most important essays. On Liberty (1859) addresses how the idea of utilitarianism can be applied to the state and wider society, while Utilitarianism (1863) discusses the eponymous theory in greater detail. Also included are Mill’s other key writings, together with an introduction by Mark G. Spencer of Brock University Ontario.
The Lingard Trilogy, Joseph Conrad (Released Sept 2016, £1.99): This triple volume contains the novels Almayer's Folly, An Outcast of the Islands and The Rescue, complete with an introduction by Robert Hampson, Professor of Modern Literature at Royal Holloway, University of London.
